Lindisfarne Sunrise.
My painting captures the ethereal atmosphere of the sun rising behind the spectacular Lindisfarne castle perched on the Northumberland coast.
Thick textures in the clouds and water are achieved by building layers of paint with liberal use of a palette knife.
Original acrylic artwork on 80x60cm canvas in a wooden moulded grey frame with white insert.
